How to remove a pass from Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
Updated
Event over? Here's how to delete a pass from your phone's wallet, or tuck old ones away without losing them.
On iPhone (Apple Wallet)
- 1Open the Wallet app and tap the pass.
- 2Tap the “More” button (three dots in a circle).
- 3Scroll down and tap “Remove Pass”, then confirm.
On Android (Google Wallet)
- 1Open the Google Wallet app and tap the pass.
- 2Tap the menu (three dots) in the top-right corner.
- 3Tap “Remove” and confirm.
Hide old passes instead
On iPhone, passes that have expired move to the “Expired Passes” list in Wallet, where you can still open or delete them. Google Wallet also moves past passes out of the main list on its own.
What happens when you remove a pass
The pass leaves your phone and you stop getting its updates and notifications. If you need it again, open the original link and add it once more.
Send your own pass
Pick a template, fill in your event and share one link. Guests add it in one tap, no app needed.
